Dr. Bouras (pronounced 'Boo-rus') graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) with a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Applied Physics and a minor in Social Personality Psychology.

Dr. Bouras received his doctor of medicine degree from the Medical College of Georgia, at the home of the Master's golf tournament, Augusta, Georgia. He also completed his residency in General Adult Psychiatry at the Louisiana State University (LSU) in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Dr. Bouras has been treating psychiatric patients for about 10 years. He has been in private practice, serving the Victoria community since June 2007.
